Since I make handmade jewelry myself and I love individuality, I am naturally interested in handmade jewelry myself. I was recently in Vienna again and so today I am showing you a few great addresses of people who make beautiful handmade jewelry in Vienna. This is a personal selection that is based on my taste and does not strive for completeness.

A dear friend of mine is Helga Beck. I often meet her at exhibitions and trade fairs. She is a Viennese goldsmith who makes very unusual pieces of jewelry out of gold, silver and bronze. At the last Edelstoff I had the pleasure of meeting Dora Des. She comes from Budapest and is part of the communal studio Stoss im Himmel . She creates wonderful pieces of jewelry out of silver and bronze, and sometimes also silver-gold plated. My jewelry is inspired by nature, either by directly depicting nature, as with my leaf jewelry, or by following nature and incorporating different shapes and structures into my jewelry.
I make all of my jewelry 100% in Austria, more precisely in Upper Austria in the small town of Altenberg near Linz. The pieces are mainly made of silver or bronze and are sometimes complemented with pearls or stones. I like making rings the most because I like wearing them myself.
