★ Handmade Jewelry Vienna 2025
Wonderful handmade jewelry from Vienna
As someone who makes handmade jewelry and loves individuality, I am also fascinated by the jewelry of other artists who create their own designs with passion and craftsmanship. Each piece tells a story, reflects the personality of its creators, and stands out from industrially manufactured jewelry. It is always exciting for me to discover new designs that have been implemented with creative techniques and special materials.
Recently, I was in Vienna again, a city known for its diverse art and design scene. Besides the classic sights, I love to wander through small alleys and discover hidden studios. Especially in the field of handmade jewelry, there is an impressive variety here – from filigree goldsmith work and modern interpretations of nature motifs to artistic unique pieces with extraordinary materials.
That’s why today I want to introduce you to some great addresses of jewelry makers in Vienna that particularly impressed me. Their works are characterized by creativity, high-quality craftsmanship, and a personal touch. I find it beautiful when jewelry is not just an accessory, but creates a connection to nature, art, or a specific emotion.
Of course, this is a very personal selection that entirely reflects my taste. I am sure there are many more exciting jewelry artists in Vienna who create equally wonderful works. But that's exactly what makes browsing and discovering so special – everyone finds their own favorite pieces that suit them and tell their own story.
So, if you love handmade jewelry and are in Vienna, it's worth looking out for small studios and workshops. There you can not only find extraordinary pieces of jewelry but often also get to know the people behind them – and that makes the jewelry even more valuable. Perhaps there's something among my recommendations that inspires or excites you!
Helga Beck
A dear acquaintance of mine is Helga Beck. I often meet her at exhibitions and fairs. She is a Viennese goldsmith who creates truly extraordinary pieces of jewelry from gold, silver, and bronze. She is inspired by various geometric shapes and loves to incorporate unique surfaces into her jewelry. www.helgabeck.com
Dora Des
At the last Edelstoff, I had the pleasure of meeting Dora Des. She comes from Budapest and is part of the Stoss im Himmel communal studio. She creates truly wonderful jewelry pieces from silver and bronze, or sometimes silver plated with gold. The pieces are beautiful unique items that also have an organic character. www.dorades.com
Lena Grabher
Lena Grabher is also part of the Stoss im Himmel studio and creates truly unique and great pieces of jewelry. Really beautiful unique items. www.lenagrabher.com
Anita Münz

alja & friends
These are Alja Neuner, Elisabeth Habig, and Angelina Kafka, three artists who create creative and unconventional unique pieces. These are not only made from classic jewelry materials but also from parchment, porcelain, and wood. www.aljaandfriends.com
Johanna Bauer
Johanna Bauer's shop and studio are located in Vienna's ninth district at Servitengasse 7. She creates contemporary jewelry with shapes and symbols. Her pieces impress with a reduced, if not minimalist, design. www.johannabauer.com
There are certainly many more great jewelry designers and goldsmiths in Vienna who make handmade jewelry. But this is just a small selection of people who come to mind right now, and I will certainly add to it whenever I come across something new.
Fortunately, handmade jewelry isn't just available in Vienna! And even if you live in the city, you can easily purchase handmade pieces from me. My online shop is open for you around the clock and offers a great selection of unique jewelry pieces, lovingly and dedicatedly crafted by myself.
All my jewelry pieces are inspired by nature. In many of my designs, like my leaf jewelry, nature is directly depicted. Other pieces incorporate shapes and structures from nature that particularly touch me, transforming them in a unique, creative way.
Each of my jewelry pieces is unique and tells its own little story. When you choose a piece from my shop, you are wearing a handmade work of art, shaped by the beauty of nature and my passion for craftsmanship. Come and have a look, and let yourself be inspired!
I make all my jewelry pieces 100% in Austria, specifically in Upper Austria in the small town of Altenberg near Linz. The pieces are predominantly made of silver or bronze and are sometimes complemented by pearls or stones. My favorite pieces to make are rings, as I particularly enjoy wearing them myself.
See you soon!
