A silver ring from sage leaf
In my garden there are countless sage bushes growing with leaves from which the sage rings are made. The fine structure and the edge are lovingly removed by hand in very thin layers of silver. This method allows the entire beauty of the leaf to be captured.
I forge the leaf into a ring and deliberately leave it open at the back to give it a unique feature. This allows me to lovingly adjust the ring to my finger when I wear it for the first time. It is a wonderful way to make each ring smaller or larger by one size and thus customize my ring size. This flexibility makes it easier to choose the perfect ring for me. It is important to note that the ring should only be adjusted once to protect the silver from breaking. Like any other metal, silver can break from repeated bending. Therefore, it is advisable to adjust the ring only once and then leave it that way. Enjoy the versatility and adaptability of my rings! I mainly use old silver. By using this recycled material, I am actively contributing to waste reduction and environmental protection.
Recycling silver saves energy and reduces mining and its negative environmental impact. As an environmentally conscious jewelry designer, nature is important to me and I am proud to do my part to protect the environment.
