Judith von Seelenzauber | Nature & Spirituality
This interview with Judith Hochstöger from Seelenzauber is part of an interview series with women who feel as connected to nature as I do. Here I talk to different women about their approach to nature and life.

Modern, down-to-earth spirituality and magic in everyday life.
Please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
I am Judith, 39 years young, and yes, I am a witch. A modern witch who builds bridges to the NOW and weaves ancient knowledge into the modern world. For me, the term "witch" contains many facets: healer, magician, energy guide, seer, and so much more.
Actually, I live a completely normal life – just like you. I've been living in Pasching with my partner and our two children for 13 years now.
From an early age, my heart has beaten for nature, Mother Earth, the plant world, animals, rituals, witchcraft, and magic. Not only the tangible, but also – or especially – the "invisible" touches me deeply.
For 3 years now, I've been self-employed full-time, guiding people towards a good and healthy connection to (nature-based) spirituality.
Today, I get to live who I am. What I am. Primarily, I offer energetic house clearings, seminars, women's circles, ritual guidance for life celebrations (welcome ceremonies, naming ceremonies, and nature-spiritual weddings), as well as 1:1 coaching.
Nature is one of the best keys to the spiritual plane for me here.

Where are you from?
What job did you learn?
Have you always been interested in nature and herbs?
I grew up in St. Valentin, and the Mostviertel was my home until my 20s. After graduating from HBLA Haag, I had two office jobs that never truly fulfilled me. Most recently, I worked for almost 15 years in a large shipping company and also gained experience in management. It was a special time, and it's part of my journey – I wouldn't want to miss it, even though my feelings and perceptions had little space there. That's why, three years ago, I made a decision: to follow my heart and my magic.
I have always been interested in Mother Earth and her treasures. I also grew up with classic home remedies like vinegar compresses and such. The spiritual plane was always accessible to me even as a child. Unfortunately, I was never really believed, so my interests changed over the years. I wanted to be "normal" and "fit in." In my mid-20s, all my clairsenses reopened from one second to the next, and all my suppressed witch knowledge gradually returned.

You work with herbs and wild herbs - why do you do that?
"There's a remedy for everything" – you might know this saying.
No plant grows in your garden or flower box on your balcony without a reason. Also, certain plants keep appearing in our daily lives. They have a message! And it's important to recognize it!
Through energetic work with plants, I quickly noticed how energies in spaces and people's fields change. Plants are important not only on a health and physical level, but also on a subtle level.
"Do you seek the highest, the greatest? The plant can teach you!" (Quote: F. Schiller)

Where does your love for the forest, rituals, energy work, and spirit coaching come from?
Where does this love come from? I carry it in my original essence and came into this world with it.
The nature of plant souls, their connection to elemental beings, their tasks here on earth, their energetic effect, their sound, and everything that cannot be seen with the eyes touches my heart very deeply.
When I work with entities, gods, or elements and create energetic spaces, portals filled with absolute love arise.
Even as a child, I often heard, "Oh Judith, you can't save the world! You always only believe in the good and are such a dreamer." You know, I'm not a person who sees everything in light and love, but I feel so much love within me and I am convinced that I can contribute to change.
Why do you want to share your knowledge in workshops and courses?
The paranormal, ancient witch knowledge, magic, and healing have always fascinated me, and with my first pocket money, I bought a book on white magic. Because I always sensed that there was more than what we learned in school or at home. But I don't blame anyone for that – because down-to-earth spirituality unfortunately still hasn't arrived in our society. It also scares many people – and I want to transform that fear into trust.
With the knowledge and experience I have today, I am there for people to show them that they are not "crazy." I show them a way of dealing with things that can be integrated into everyday life. Mother Earth in her rhythm, the plants, the elements, the moon and its cycle – they all help us in and with our processes. I accompany and support them as best I can. For personal healing that benefits the collective.
As within – so without. As above – so below. There are no separations.

You deal with living space cleansing - why is this important to you?
Our home is the place where we can just be. Where we can find peace, regenerate, and recharge. Often, our home is burdened by energetic interference fields. These can be various radiations (earth, water, magnetic rays, etc.), but also ancestral issues.
Because every thought, every feeling, every word, and every deed has an energy. And these energies are discharged and stored in the apartment if they are not cleaned regularly. This then leads to sleep disturbances, arguments, illnesses, etc.
Often I am called for energetic living space clearings because children see "ghosts" or strange things are happening that are frightening. That's when I come to mediate and resolve between the planes.
As a mother, I see it as my duty and responsibility to create a wonderful world for our children. Together with them. And many different fields still need healing, including the energies of our living spaces.

What does a "normal" day look like for you?
I start each day with a small ritual. But it's never the same. Most of the time, it alternates between walking barefoot in the garden, a short breathing session, or a workout. Energetic alignment is especially important to me – to serve others, my energy needs to be clearly aligned.
After that follow client appointments online and offline, planning, social media presence, phone calls, and everything else that comes up in my business.
Afternoons are exclusively for my children. We do a lot and are often in nature.
I love to organize my day exactly as I want it. According to my needs. Also according to my feminine cycle. That is so important! And that's exactly what I want to show my children – to pay attention to one's own needs.
Every day is different accordingly. Sometimes I work until late at night – because there are so many impulses and I feel the energy, other times I don't work for 2 hours a day and only take care of myself and my family.
In the evenings, when we put the children to bed, we have another wonderful ritual that we have been doing for many years. Everyone is allowed to say 1-3 things for which they are grateful today. Falling asleep with this feeling of gratitude changes a lot in life. I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

Do you enjoy being in nature?
Absolutely. In all weathers and all seasons. Whether morning walks, evenings under the starry sky, or dipping your feet in the creek on a hot summer day...
YES – I need nature. It is a part of me... of all of us! It grounds us and gives us support when we falter. It provides us with answers to so many open questions, and we should listen to it much more often!
Do you have a special favorite place or power spot - where do you like to be most?
By the element of water. That's where I love to be most.
Whether it's a small stream or the wide open sea – I love to connect with the water.

Do you have a special power plant - if so - which one is it and why exactly this one?
The evening primrose – it came to me 1.5 years ago and has since accompanied me into the deepest levels of my soul. Through it, I was able to emerge truly shining from difficult shadow times. For that, I am endlessly grateful to it!
Do you have a recipe for us that even "unpracticed" people can easily replicate - it can also be a ritual or a simple spell?
I'd love to share my potent "cinnamon spell" with you. Here, we've combined your own magic with the magic of the cinnamon plant.
Instructions:
Sprinkle some cinnamon powder into the palm of your hand and blow it from outside (over the doorstep) into your living space. You can do this at the front door or even at the patio door. As you blow the cinnamon over the doorstep, say: "Abundance, love, and prosperity for one month! So mote it be! So mote it be! So mote it be!"
Repeat this spell on the first day of each month (January 1st, February 1st, March 1st, etc.)
Nature, herbs, but also sustainability and organic are very "trendy" now - why do you think that is?
People are increasingly sensing what is good for them and what is not. The frequencies of the earth are rising rapidly. Our mind and soul keep pace with this, but our body often lags behind. By connecting with nature, with high-quality and, above all, ethically justifiable nutrition, we support the body in this process.
Everything that is not "natural" blocks something at some point. And people are gradually feeling that more and more.
Why is there also a longing within us to be more connected with nature again and to simply live?
Because we are reminded within ourselves what truly fulfills us. Where we can draw our strength. The ego, which constantly tells us to be faster, higher, further – to always want more and more – slowly quiets down. In nature, everything has its time and its own cycle. Plants never compare themselves. They know their gifts and follow their path. They blossom – at their own pace. When we become quiet for a moment, and feel within, we sense how good that feels.
If you now feel the impulse to dive deeper into "my world," then feel free to follow me on Instagram. There I share my perceptions of current energies, ritual ideas and suggestions, and of course a lot of knowledge from and with Mother Earth.
What I'm really looking forward to – the "Spirit your life 2.0" training will start soon. An 8-month witch training where you still have the opportunity to participate. You can find all information about it on my website www.seelenzauber.at.
